Produktbeschreibung

The sustainable alternative for Camembert fans Our large Vamembert and PlesseBlue cheese wheels are ideal for shops with a cheese counter, cafés, hotels or restaurants. The cultures can work much better in this format and develop an even better taste experience. In addition, the inhibition threshold among customers is lower because they can try a small piece at the counter more quickly and as soon as that happens they buy a lot more! No animals have to suffer for our Vamembert figs, but fair cashews have to be cracked. The best: The cheese alternative tastes as creamy and soft as the original. Aromatic organic figs add a touch of sweetness to the classic Vamembert that perfectly complements the cheesy aroma. An intense taste experience for every cheese platter. Soft, creamy and covered in white noble mould: That´s how we love Camembert. The Vamembert makes it organic and vegan, because no animals have to suffer here for our cheesy enjoyment. The cashew-based cheese alternative with a mild aroma tastes great on bread, with grapes and wine, or simply on its own from the cheese platter. Made by hand in the Goettingen manufactory So how does cashews become Vamembert? Inoculated with the right cultures, soaked blended cashews develop the same cheesy flavor as ´´regular´´ cheese. The special thing about Cashewrella: Every Vamembert is shaped, salted, turned and cared for every day in the Goettingen factory. The origin of our cashews A smallholder Fairtrade cooperative in Burkina Faso grows the cashews for us in small plots. The cashew trees grow there in a mixed culture with mangoes to strengthen biodiversity. The families form a community of sellers together and thus receive fixed purchase prices. In order to create more jobs in the growing country, the raw cashews are processed directly in the nearby factory.
